How do I donate to the Redditch Association for the Blind?

As a local independent charity we are reliant on the goodness of local people and businesses to help to fund our efforts and we are grateful to the people of Redditch who respond to us in such positive ways.

Our overhead costs are minimal, we do not employ staff, so any amount donated whether large or small, is spent to improve the quality of life and wellbeing of people in Redditch who are affected severely by sight loss.

Many local businesses kindly donate to our charity by having one of our collection boxes on display. This also raises awareness that severe sight loss is indiscriminate and can affect any one of us at any time, and includes major life changes which, sadly, are so often permanent.

Individual supporters also have collection boxes at home and often donate their loose change We are mainly funded by donations, bequests, sponsored events, collections and fundraising events. We are also seeking other ways in which people might help us e.g. on line shopping channels, The Redditch Community Lottery and being selected as a business’ charity of the year.

If you are able to help us in any way, either by making a charitable donation, by having a fundraising event for us, or choosing us as your charity for a sponsored event. then please do get in touch we would be delighted to hear from you.
